Hello and welcome to the SNP’s base camp. The SNP is that train model builders’ association that is so special because their layouts are conceived on the web.
Here you will find a lot of different things: our creations, an introduction of the members, and probably some ideas if you allow us a little time for reflection!
But I don’t want to forget what this little topic is meant to: making you more familiar with our association. The SNP is a whole crowd of friends, all students, who once decided to practice train model building in a different way from what they were used to seeing. In brief, they decided to be original, and also to share their points of view and their creations.
So, since 2005 we have presented several uncommon layouts in which we concentrated on the containers of the models: first, we presented a layout built in shoe boxes and then in suitcases. We have now started to follow new tracks (the right ones?) in trees, and may we invite the young modelers who have some ideas to suggest, to join us in a new and even nicer creation!
There we are! Our message is sent! Don’t you feel like joining us? But beware, that’s obvious, it won’t be so easy…because the SNP’s wonders are meant to keep some mystery!
And as usual, if you want to ask us some questions or invite us to an exhibition, or if you breed a flat/an apartment locomotive, situation which may pose some problems (to your neighbours of course)…do not hesitate to contact us!
